victoria asher (vicky-t) (cobra starship) and sean van vleet (empires).
~839 words, written for gametoken, un-beta'd, after being told this: vicky in one of sean's plaid button ups the morning after. all legs and messy hair and maybe sleeves that she has to fold because they're too long. or even her missing a button when she did it up all half asleep and sean stirs for the first time and even opens his eyes a bit. 'get back to bed and stop playing dress up with my clothes' is the first thing he mumbles in his wake.

Victoria's not planning on actually going through with removing her shirt and tossing it off to the side while Sean's sleeping (and she's not even sure when he fell asleep), glancing around for a moment while she thinks. Nothing of interest is catching her eye in his room, not like she expects for something to jump out of nowhere to ask for her attention, so she's getting up and going over to Sean's closet, pulling it open to look through everything. Well, one thing's for sure: Sean has far too many button-up shirts.

That's when she gets the brilliant idea to put one on, having nothing else covering up her chest at the moment, pulling it up her arms and buttoning it halfway before she gives up on fucking around with the tiny-small buttons; too much effort and not enough time to actually keep her eyes open to stay awake completely. If Sean honestly has a problem Victoria dressing up in his button-up shirt, then he'll have to deal with it.

"Stop playing dress up with my clothes," is all Victoria hears, along with some stirring in the bed, from Sean, and she turns around to look back at him with a small, barely visible grin. Well, there's her answer to if he has a problem with her dressing up in his clothes, but Victoria's never been one to heed to most things people say to her.

"Shut the fuck up," Victoria says airily and shakes her head at him. It seems like Sean doesn't have a problem with her doing this anymore, or he's just too tired, because he's rolling over again a second later and bringing his arm up to hold his pillow closer to the side of his face that's pressing against it.

Crawling back into Sean's bed with him, she curls up against him slightly, her arms wrapped around his waist, making her the Big Spoon, and her face pressed to the back of his neck. It's all innocent and sleep-happy, so she's not too concerned with if she's invading his personal space.

Honestly, Victoria doesn't see anything wrong with what she's doing right now.

When Victoria wakes up, she's still sleepy and doesn't want to stay awake at all, but she became the Small Spoon while her and Sean were sleeping, apparently, since she feels arms wrapped around her waist loosely, hands pressing against her lower stomach. The shirt she'd put on the night before is riding up ever-so-slightly, though not enough to make her feel uncomfortable around Sean, and rather pushes closer to him, her back resting flush against his chest.

It's comfortable and enough to make her go back to sleep.

The second time she wakes up, Victoria doesn't feel anyone's body heat behind herself, and she's shifting around some to make sure she's not imagining emptiness, but she isn't. Well, that's a bit of a letdown, considering she was quite enjoying Sean's arms snaked around her and holding her closer than probably necessary.

As she sits up, Victoria feels her hair's more messy than it normally is, probably a lot frizzy, and a sight to see, needless to say. Normally, she'd put her hair up in a messy ponytail before going to sleep, but she didn't have the energy to last night before she was knocked out after changing shirts. She's lying on top of Sean's comforter, legs exposed and long, stretched out far and toes curling as the rest of her stretches out now.

"Sleep well?" Sean asks, out of nowhere it seems, startling Victoria the slightest bit, even when he adds, "In my shirt," all emphasized and acting like he's mad at her for taking his button-up shirt.

Sean's looking over Victoria now, like he's judging her or something similar to that, and she doesn't really give a fuck at this point; he can have at it all he wants. But when Sean's hand comes up to motion at his shoulder, like he's trying to brush it off as the song says (maybe he's feeling like a pimp), Victoria notices that the shirt she has on is falling down her own shoulder, clearly too big for her smaller frame to fit in properly.

"Well, then," Victoria says and pushes the arms of the shirt up as well, since they're just as loose on her, past her elbows and tugs up the shoulder of the shirt by the collar, only to have it fall right back down, noticing briefly that a button or two seem to have fallen off overnight; whoops. A scowl's on Victoria's face in a second and she can't bring herself to care much. "Deal," she says with a scoff, and Sean doesn't say anything for a long moment.

"I think you should play dress up more often," Sean declares, causing a small grin to form over Victoria's lips again, this one more visible than the previous one, easy and friendly, also one that's clearly telling she'll take advantage of this kind-of-really-permission all the time.
